Radish
This little vegetable is amazing, it is one of the richest sources of iron, calcium and sodium that we have in the vegetable kingdom.
The leaves are often eaten in salads and have more calcium, phosphorus vitamin C and protein than radish itself.
You can prepare a syrup by mixing a teaspoonful of fresh radish juice with equal quantity of honey and a little rock salt, this is often used in the treatment of hoarseness, whooping cough, bronchitis and other chest problems. It may be given 3 times a day.
