Pomegranate
The ancient Doctors of Arabia used this fruit for the inflammation of the stomach and pains in the heart.
The sweet varieties of the fruit are regarded as a good laxative, the sour varieties more as anti inflammatories.
It is acknowledged as increasing the body’s resistance against infections, and has been used as part of the fight against Tuberculosis.
The roots and the stems of the pomegranate tree are well known for their ability to purge the body of Tape worms.
In some countries it is used as a treatment for anal itching, which can be a symptom of worms. Powder the roasted brittle and black skin, and mix it with a good quality oil and apply over the anus.
